Use a skillet large enough for the bacon to cook without a crowded pile. Attend the pan throughout the long low-heat stage and drain the cooked strips on paper towels.
Weed Bacon
Eight strips is the food yield, not eight verified THC doses. Bacon thickness and pan heat vary, so use the package cooking guidance and cook thoroughly; time alone does not establish doneness.
Ingredients
- 8 strips bacon
- 1/2 ounce finely ground cannabis
Instructions
- Place the bacon on a dish and rub part of the finely ground cannabis onto the strips.
- Transfer to a skillet and cook on low for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle the remaining cannabis onto the bacon. Continue cooking on low for the listed 60-minute stage, attending the pan. Follow the bacon package guidance and cook fully until crisp; pan heat and thickness can change the time needed.
- Transfer the fully cooked bacon to paper towels and dab off excess grease.
- Let cool enough to handle before serving. Label any infused leftovers and refrigerate promptly.

Low heat still needs attention
Rub part of the finely ground cannabis onto the bacon before the first stage, then add the remainder as directed. Watch for hot spots and scorching; a low burner setting is not a fixed temperature.
Cook, then drain
For thin bacon, a thermometer can be difficult to use accurately. Follow the package instructions and cook until fully done and crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain before serving.
