POLITICO is looking for a hard-working, versatile reporter to cover state health care policy and politics in California as part of our Sacramento bureau. The reporter will break news, monitor legislative developments and write high-impact enterprise stories for an informed California subscriber audience, focusing on state health care initiatives being debated in Sacramento, including universal health care. The reporter will also help cover policymaking surrounding marijuana legalization in California. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of writing a steady flow of well-written stories.
