AT THE BAKING TRAY

Even portions, with room to spread.

Start with softened butter
Use the softened cannabutter and plain butter called for in the ingredients. Melted butter changes the dough’s consistency and is not the method specified here.
Keep the dough balls consistent
Shape one-inch balls and leave two inches between them, as directed. Similar portions help the cookies bake at a similar pace.
Watch the clock and the edges
Dark cocoa dough is harder to judge by colour alone. Check at the recipe’s ten-minute mark; oven calibration, tray material, and portion size can change the result.
Count before storing
No finished cookie count is specified. Count the batch you actually bake, let the cookies cool before sealing, and label the container clearly.

Half a cup of cannabutter, not a cup.

The recipe uses ½ cup infused butter plus ½ cup plain butter. For the THC estimate, use only the infused half-cup and the actual finished cookie count. Equal-sized cookies can still vary in strength; a calculator does not replace measured potency.

Keep the cookies in a labelled, locked container away from children and pets. Effects can take up to two hours to be felt; avoid eating more while waiting.
