Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities

Provides administrative and program analysis assistance to a Division Director. Compiles and organizes data from various sources to develop and prepare graphs, charts and reports for presentation when making business operational recommendation. Maintains accurate accounting of all expenditures to ensure operation within budget. Provides guidance to reconcile requisitions for effective management of available funding. Acts as Liaison to track Semper Fit requirements with other administrative offices such as purchasing and contracting, maintenance, accounting, personnel offices, and property. May review reports from Division Director to identify administrative, programmatic and operational issues or problematic procedural processes. Analyzes and evaluates Semper Fit program efficiency and effectiveness by developing proposals for problem resolution. May perform tasks and reviews of various internal functions and systems to determine maximum efficiency and compliance with established MCCS policies and regulations. May conduct studies of problem areas in the organization to determine and define problems, recommend corrective actions, share findings and coordinate resolution. Evaluates organizational functions, plan changes or enhancements to systematic processes.

Provides direct administrative assistance to management within Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS). Performs a variety of responsible administrative duties requiring a substantial level of judgment, experience and discretion. Maintains organization and update of various files, regulations, manuals and directives. Reviews all incoming correspondence, determining proper action. Reviews outgoing correspondence and reports ensuring proper format and concurrence with established directives. Maintains calendar and schedules appointments and meetings according to workload and current issues of importance for management positions. Performs daily responsibilities independently. Maintains and follows-up on scheduling of meetings, training, conferences and personnel issues for management. Acts as liaison among employees in management positions, managers, local command POC’s, outside agencies, other commands and other MCCS divisions.

Qualifications

Three years experience that demonstrates ability to prepare and analyze operating budgets for multifaceted operation. Knowledge of basic statistical, accounting and budget principles and techniques. Skill to compile and analyze data and develop statistical or narrative reports, charts, and graphs. Knowledge of internal review and cost analyst dealing with nonappropriated funds is preferred. Knowledge of payroll, cost, supply procedures to account of funds, prepare documents and develop budget estimates. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Skill to operate a personal computer and associated software. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
