Our client, an international Law Firm, is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for its Health Care practice for its Washington, DC office. Experience & Qualifications: · 10+ years of business development experience, with preference to experience with a professional services or health care organization. · Degree in Health Care Policy, Law or English Literature a plus. · Highly motivated and nimble self-starter; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. · Proficient at issue-spotting, and a strong intellectual curiosity about the intersection of the health care industry and the business of law. · Highly organized, strong creative abilities and excellent writing and analytical skills. Responsibilities: · Build and manage relationships with the firm’s Health Care partners and with relevant, targeted health care organizations, publications and conferences to promote Dentons. · Develop annual strategic business development and marketing plans, and corresponding budgets. · Facilitate market, industry and competitive intelligence research analysis. · Collaborate with others to support industry-focused initiatives in Life Sciences and Cannabis. · Manage client events to promote business development and brand awareness. · Work with lawyers to create sales proposals/pitches and responses to Requests for Proposals. · Create marketing materials to promote brand awareness and enable pitch opportunities. · Assist with the onboarding of new laterals to best position them for success. · Draft submissions for targeted rankings and directories.
