Chocolate Chip CBD Cookies
Ingredients & directions
Chocolate chip cookie dough
Ingredients
Before you mix Check the CBD and THC lines on the product label. Use a product with a stated CBD concentration and a way to measure its volume in milliliters. Use only a small measured volume so the oil does not appreciably change the dough.
Directions
-

Cream the butter and sugars
Heat the oven to 350°F. Beat the softened butter with both sugars until pale and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Mix the measured CBD oil thoroughly into the creamed butter.
-

Mix in the eggs and vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve the baking soda in the hot water and mix it into the batter with the salt.
-

Fold in the chocolate
Stir in the flour just until the dry patches disappear. Fold in the chocolate chips and optional walnuts. If the dough is too soft to scoop neatly, chill it until it holds its shape.
-

Scoop, bake, and cool
Scoop rounded 1½-tablespoon mounds onto an ungreased baking sheet with 2 inches between them. Bake about 10 minutes per tray, until the edges turn light gold and the centers have set. Let them firm up on the tray briefly, then transfer them to a rack. Count the finished cookies.
Storage Cool fully. Label the airtight container, keep it separate from ordinary cookies, and store it securely away from children and pets.
Kitchen notes
Estimate CBD from the bottle label
Read the concentration
Use the labeled milligrams of CBD per milliliter. If the label gives only total milligrams and bottle volume, divide the total by the volume to get mg/mL.
Count the baked cookies
Multiply the concentration by the milliliters of oil used, then divide by the cookie count. This is a batch average from the label. Mixing, scoop size, and baking can affect how much ends up in each cookie.
