COOKING NOTES
Keep the dough consistent.
- Softened means pliable
- Let the butters soften enough to mix smoothly. This recipe calls for softened butter; melting it changes the dough before it reaches the oven.
- Portion before the tray fills
- Roll one-inch balls and leave two inches between them. Keep later trays the same size and spacing.
- Use a cool tray for the next round
- Give a used cookie sheet time to cool before adding more dough. A hot tray starts melting the butter before the next bake.
Half the butter is infused.
The dough uses ½ cup cannabutter and ½ cup regular butter. Include only the infused half-cup when using the THC estimator. There is no listed cookie yield; count your actual cookies. Cool before sealing in a labeled container, or freeze wrapped cookies for later.
