Applying for a Michigan Medical Cannabis Id card or marijuana card involves being diagnosed by a licensed physician who specializes in marijuana treatment prior to applying for your red card. Once you get your marijuana prescription from your doctor you will need to send it in along with the state marijuana application form and the patient registry payment $100 new or renewal application / $25 Medicaid patients to:

Once the state reviews your application for medical cannabis, they will then approve your application and send your Michigan Marijuan i.d card to you in the mail.

Michigan Marijuana Card Laws

Laws for Growing Weed and Smoking Medical Marijuana using your Michigan marijuana id card are as follows: Cannabis Patients may possess up to two and one-half (2.5) ounces of usable medical marijuana and twelve marijuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility. The twelve plants may be kept by the marijuana patient only if he or she has not specified a primary caregiver to cultivate the marijuana for him or her. You must always keep your Michigan Marijuana Card on you in case you get pulled over or approached by the law.
