The Pro Line Territory Manager will be responsible for promoting Oldcastle’s Pro Line products within the Northeast Region (from Washington DC to Maine) including Pro Horticulture custom and standard blends, Storm Water & bio-retention blends, engineered soils for various applications such as roof top mixes, cannabis and hydroponic media to growers, marketers, cultivators, municipalities, engineers, contractors and public agencies. This person will be or become a product expert and able to maintain existing business relationships while growing the business through new channels and customers. Must be professionally oriented, motivated and a self-starter while working in a team atmosphere and utilizing the internal support structures to provide excellent customer experience. This position reports to the Pro Line Sales Director.

Job Description
Develop and maintain relationships with assigned existing and prospective customers. Develop short and long range objectives for Pro Line Sales within the assigned geography. Identify and approach target markets and customers; Reach sales objectives and provide effective forecasting; Prepare and present quotations and business proposals; Provide qualified technical support to our customers and distributors. Attend sales shows and visit customers. Maintain accurate and current database of customers to include all contact information. Manage the order process in an accurate and timely manner to insure the success of all Learn the varieties, forms and standard terms for product offered. Insure timely resolution and communication of customer complaints, shortages and order adjustments. Execute business plans that will assist in achieving sales/profit objectives. Ability to communicate customer’ needs and requirements to internal associates Provide market and industry insights in a clear, concise manner
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineering degree preferred. Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of substrates/growing media preferred. Experience in prospecting, quoting and project management. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/SalesForce.com Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Sound knowledge of standard sales processes. Poised and confident in formal and informal settings with senior executives, purchasing agents, peers, and business partners. Ability to exercise independent judgment in complex and/or sensitive situations. Availability to travel extensively.
