Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities
You will educate user community as to how to submit successful, complete, and accurate requested so as to reduce or eliminate re-work, lost approval time, and other issues relevant to the IT approval process. You will maintain situational awareness of IA/Cyber policies which affect the acquisition and provisioning of IT resources. You will evaluate justification and analysis documentation to determine whether proposed requests effectively address sole-source criteria, standard configuration, and IA approvals. You will ensure the security related provisions of system acquisition documents meet all identified security needs.

Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: processing requests in an IT procurement and authorization system; making technical decisions regarding IT equipment, software, and license requests; providing advisory technical support to senior leaders; ensuring compliance with approved hardware and software lists are met; and sponsoring new technology into the approval process and assisting with the retirement of technologies from the approval process. My experience in the information technology field has equipped me with skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
