About the Company:Acuity Eyecare Group (AEG) is a rapidly growing community of Optical Retail shops that practice Full-Scope Optometry adjacent to a well-run Dispensary. We are building a collection of top small local Optical Retail businesses – primarily OD-owned – and integrating them onto the AEG platform. In the process, we maintain the local retail brand, OD staff, Store Associates, Patients/Customers – while making investments that enable the team take better care of the patients and customers in their neighborhood. The core purpose that unifies all of our Doctors and Associates is to “improve the health of our community by helping our neighbors see better and look their best, one patient at a time”.

About the OpportunityThe Human Resource Information System HRIS Analyst will support and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. The HRIS Analyst also partners with the Payroll and HR team to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes, and leverage the return on technological capabilities. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Duties/Responsibilities:· Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.· Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.· Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.· Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.· Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.· Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.· Serves as lead representative and liaison for HRIS design and implementation projects.· Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.· Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality. · Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. Uses these data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications. · Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals. · Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.· Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRMS system tables. Documents process and results.· Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.· Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.· Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.· Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. · Participates in user group meetings/conferences.· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.· Ability to keep information confidential. · Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product, ADP experience a plus.· Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.· Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise. · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.· At least five years of related experience required with experience w/ADP platforms preferred.
