Our client has an immediate need for a highly organized and detail oriented General Manager to oversee the launch and roll-out of one of the country’s first cannabis consumption lounges and eateries located in the greater Los Angeles area. With plans for expansion in emerging markets, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing retail dispensary establishments in multiple locations, from opening to operations, using their skills in leadership and training to bring the original site’s vision to future sites. ResponsibilitiesOversee the purchasing, pricing and sale of all inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis at original storeAdhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company regulationsAssist and support staff training in accordance with company and state requirements across all locationsRegularly communicate with and update the senior leadership teamParticipate in marketing efforts designed to manage community engagement, store promotions and events, and customer communication across a wide range of platforms
RequirementsFamiliarity with rules and regulations regarding dispensary managementAbility to acquire a state credential by passing required background check and any other requirement listed Willingness to travel to other locations to support openings and monitor/maintain effective operations Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Leadership and interpersonal skills 3+ of years’ experience in a retail dispensary management position, ideally across multiple locations
