The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the FP&A Analyst will contribute to providing the senior leadership team with appropriate information and analytical tools for establishing goals and measuring performance.With their proven analytical and communication skills, this individual will work effectively with various functional VPs and FP&A team members to drive results and meet targets as defined by operating and strategic business plans.

Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the major performance drivers of the company in order to support decision making through analytics; presenting past and projected financial implications Prepare the monthly management reporting package, including analysis and commentary on the company’s performance on a consolidated basis and variance analysis to forecasts and budgets Create and maintain financial models to assist with business strategy, operations, and decision making for the assigned business functions Assist with the preparation and enhancement of KPI reporting for management Support the various functional VP’s in developing and understanding their P&L’s, highlighting key business drivers and emerging trends, and presenting other metrics as required Prepare presentation decks and analysis for board and shareholder meetings and monthly / quarterly senior leadership meetings Support the annual budget process for Canopy and its subsidiaries, including assisting VPs with preparing their functional area budgets, and supporting the Manager FP&A in consolidating the budget and preparing slide-decks for executive and board review Support the annual strategic business planning process and preparation of a long-range financial plan Support the ERP implementation project in designing management reports Participate in the implementation of BI tools and automated budget and forecasting tools Additional duties as assigned

Experience
3-4 years of public accounting consulting experience, including significant FP&A and decision support experience CPA, CFA, MBA, or comparable designation preferred Advanced computer skills, particularly MS Office Suite programs (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) ERP system experience is a plus, preferably SAP Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization, including senior management
