Cresco Labs is seeking a Cultivation Operations Manager to join our growing team!The Cultivation Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Cultivation (“DoC”).This role will support the DoC in all things related to the operations of Carpinteria’s cultivation facility. Including, but not limited to, cultivation scheduling, planning, staffing, storage & transport.
The Cultivation Operations Manager will also assist the DoC by facilitating cross-functional department communications (including compliance, quality, community relations, engineering & maintenance, purchasing, HR.) and serve as a vital connection between Carpinteria and Cresco’s corporate resources.
CORE JOB DUTIES· Assist DoC with production planning and scheduling to drive achievement of production targets and quality standards. · Create detailed production schedules and coordinate work activities with other units and leaders to optimize resources.Maintain a safe, clean and legally compliant workplace that adheres to all company policies and procedures.Identify, investigate, correct and document potential environmental and safety problems.Maintain product quality while ensuring compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction and safety. Lead problem resolution to identify quality/productivity related problems, recommend measures for improvement and lead and participate in quality/productivity improvement initiatives.· Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR for hiring of facility staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels. ·  Management responsibilities for cultivation team. Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, developing personal growth opportunities.·  In collaboration with HR, ensure compliance with timecard reporting, performance management and employee relations.·  Lead meetings with the management team to discuss supply/demand, new projects, and upcoming information ·   Effective communication and constructive cooperation between multiple locations and all levels of employees.·   Oversee proper and adequate storage of all product. ·   Ensure all product leaving the facility is compliant with the State of California’s tracking and transport regulations. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS·  At least 2-3 years in Operations Management with experience in a cross-functional organization·  Effective solutions-based attitude and management style ·  Strong ability to multitask and work through constant interruption ·  Strong project management skills and experience ·  Highly organized and meticulous ·  Ability to handle high-stress situations ·  Team-oriented and collaborative with a positive attitude ·  Comfortable in a start-up environment – willingness and interest to roll up sleeves ·  Strong verbal and written communications skills ·  Proficient in all Office Suites (Google, Microsoft Office) ·  Proven experience in creating systems and processes ·  Experience in a warehouse setting, production environment – GMP/SQF/OSHA/ISO experience preferred ·  Cannabis industry experience preferredADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be 21 years of age or older to applyMust comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.Cresco Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.ness
