Viridian Staffing’s (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Patient Care / Retail Consultants for a new cannabis retail store in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. This is for a temporary opportunity estimated to start in late May/early June and last for about a month or two.

As a Patient Care / Retail Consultant, you will get the opportunity to assist customers and patients in determining which cannabis products might be best suited for them. As a subject matter expert in cannabis products, you will utilize your excellent customer service and communication skills to guide each customer through the purchasing process, as they step foot in the store through the check-out. You should have a positive, customer-focused demeanor, that allows customers to feel comfortable discussing sometimes sensitive information with you.
The State of Illinois has a requirement that you must be 21 years of age. You will need a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least 1 year of customer service experience. You must also have some retail experience and a willingness to learn all aspects of the cannabis plant. You will also use your proven ability to be detail oriented to learn and understand all state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the Cannabis industry. For an individual who comes in and does a great job, there is the possibility of this position converting to a full time role.
