Requirements

21 years of age
Culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory for consideration. Commensurate experience within the F&B industry will be considered.
Must be able to qualify as a registered marijuana agent with the state of Massachusetts and pass a criminal background check (CORI)
A passion for confectionery production and cannabis is essential
A consistently positive, friendly attitude; a team player with professionalism
Superior communication: verbal, written, active listening
Ability to work on own with minimal direction and solve problems
Accountability, honesty, integrity
Openness to change and ideas, able to change directions quickly
Adherence to policies and procedures
Candidate must live within a reasonable distance to commute, not currently accepting out of state applications

Experience And Ability
Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not mandatory 3-5 years of experience in a bakery/confectionery production-oriented role Must be qualified to handle the rigorous physical demands of a commercial kitchen Frequently moves and lifts equipment and supplies in excess of 50 pounds or more
Major Areas Of Responsibility
Production of cannabis infused products – chocolate bars, jellies, caramels, tinctures, etc. Creating daily production lists from set par levels and daily inventories Strict adherence to policies and procedures Cleanliness in every step of the process Organization must be second nature and always a priority Attention to detail, quality, and consistency in production Executing and enforcing compliance with DPH and Nature’s Remedy regulations Communicate effectively with co-workers and management team Participate in ongoing and professional development as required Other duties as assigned by Culinary Director
