Local candidates preferred, however qualified remote candidates will be considered. Compensation is based on experience.

Manage multiple Instagram accounts and schedule daily posts with creative captionsOrganize and edit photo and video contentCreate feeds with strong visual appeal and aesthetic that adhere to brand identityRespond to all Instagram DMs and comments, and create engagement by asking questions, hosting giveaways, and utilizing various platform tools (such as polls, quizzes, etc)Post regular Instagram storiesStay on top of current trends and algorithmic changesStay current on industry hashtags and use strategicallyUpdate websites (created with Squarespace and WordPress) as necessaryWrite content for social media captions, website content, infographics, brochures, advertisements, etcRegularly review social media analytics, send monthly report to management team, and base posting schedule, hashtags, etc around these analyticsAssist managerial team with content creation, drafts, scheduling, and other items as requestedResponsible for coordinating with SEO specialists and handling the implementation of website suggestionsDesign and maintain Instagram story slides, highlights, & informational post carouselsMaintain MailChimp email lists and create/schedule/send periodic email blastsResponsible to write and/or manage vendors to write SEO-optimized blogs on assigned topics, as well as press releasesWork with merchandise vendors to create and maintain brand merch
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldCannabis industry experience and familiarity with the concentrate/dab marketAt least 1-2 years of experience of managing and growing social media accounts, launching successful social media campaigns, building audience engagement, creating original copy, designing infographics, etcA proven track record of success with examples of social media feeds you have managed that show a cohesive brand identity, aesthetic appeal, creative captions, huge follower engagement, steady growth, and viral contentAt least 1 years experience with social and creative tools and analytics such as Facebook and IG Insights, Google Analytics, posting platforms such as Hootsuite or Later, Canva, and PhotoshopBasic G Suite skillsBasic web design skills and familiarity with the backends of Squarespace and WordPressThe ability to write both creative copy and technical content of varying lengths, be it short Instagram captions, infographic content, or webpage copyStrong professional writing and communication skills, and the ability to develop daily captions that are unique and engagingPassion for social media and staying up-to-date on current trends, algorithms, and platformsAble to manage multiple social media accounts at a time and create a brand identity that is unique and cohesive to each oneThe ideal candidate will be a problem solver, self-starter, go-getter, detail-oriented, creative, driven, and have an eye for design. Photography or design background a plus. Time management skills are a must.
