UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE / SWEET CHIPS / TART FRUIT
Three distinct chocolate-pan textures.
Use halved dried sour cherries, not cherry pie filling or fresh cherries. They join the semisweet chips after the chocolate, eggs, flour, and extracts are combined.

THC Chocolate Cherry Brownies
The method identifies the listed all-purpose ingredient as flour. The recipe gives a pan size, not a brownie count; count the pieces you actually cut before estimating strength.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cannabutter
- 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup halved dried sour cherries
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a 9x13 inch glass baking dish with butter and flour.
- Over low heat, melt cannabutter and unsweetened chocolate in a heavy saucepan, and stir until it is smooth.
- Remove from the heat, then mix in sugar, then eggs one at a time, then add the egg yolk.
- Add vanilla and almond extracts, flour, and cinnamon, and then stir until blended.
- Add cherries and chocolate chips.
- Add the batter to the pan and then bake brownies for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool, then serve.

COOKING NOTES
Keep control of the saucepan.
- Melt gently
- Stir the cannabutter and chopped unsweetened chocolate over low heat. Remove the pan from the heat before the sugar and eggs are added.
- Use both kinds of chocolate
- The six ounces of unsweetened chocolate go into the melted base. The cup of semisweet chocolate chips goes in later with the dried cherries.
- Cool before slicing
- Prepare the 9 × 13 inch glass dish with butter and flour. Follow the center-test cue in the method and let the pan cool before cutting even pieces.
Cut the pan before counting portions.
This batch uses ¾ cup cannabutter. No yield is specified; count the brownies you cut and use that number in the THC estimator. Keep cooled brownies sealed in a labeled container, or freeze wrapped portions for later.
Label as cannabis edibles and lock away from children and pets. Effects can take hours; avoid taking more while waiting.
