ONE CUP MELTED / ONE CUP FOLDED IN
Chocolate in two textures.
Divide the two cups of chocolate chips before you start. One cup melts with the cannabutter to form the base; the other goes in with the walnuts, leaving chocolate pieces throughout the batter.
THE CHOCOLATE BASE
1 cup chips + ¼ cup cannabutter
Melt together over low heat, then remove the saucepan from the heat before adding the biscuit mix, condensed milk, egg, and vanilla.
THE MIX-INS
1 cup chips + 1 cup walnuts
Stir into the batter, then spread in the greased 13 × 9 inch pan. The recipe’s bake is 20–25 minutes at 350°F.
420 Fudge Nut Brownies
The recipe specifies a pan size, not a brownie count. Cut and count your portions, then use the known strength of the ¼ cup cannabutter to estimate THC per piece.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cannabutter
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup chocolate chips with cannabutter.
- Remove from heat.
- Add biscuit mix, condensed milk, egg and vanilla.
- Stir in nuts and remaining 1 cup chips.
- Pour into a well-greased 13x9 inch baking pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of pan.

COOKING NOTES
Keep the mix and the milk straight.
- Biscuit mix is the specified base
- Measure two cups of biscuit baking mix. The recipe does not call for two cups of plain flour; a substitution would change the formula.
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Use the listed 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk. Measure the biscuit mix separately, then add the entire can of condensed milk.
- Watch the edge, then let cool
- The method gives 20–25 minutes, or until the brownies begin to pull away from the pan sides. As a serving tip, let the pan cool before cutting to help the squares hold their shape.
Choose the cut before calculating.
The pan uses ¼ cup cannabutter. No number of brownies is given, so use the pieces you actually cut and your infusion’s known strength in the THC estimator. Cool before packing; keep in a labeled, closed container, or freeze individually wrapped pieces for later.
Label as cannabis edibles and lock away from children and pets. Effects can take up to two hours to be felt; avoid taking more while waiting.
