How to Make Cannabis Sugar

Use Cannabis sugar in any way you would use regular sugar. I like to add it to my coffee, iced tea, hot tea, oatmeal, cereal, on a halved grapefruit, in a fruit salad & anywhere…
Cannabis sugar: use an unheated method
Do not put alcohol-tincture-soaked sugar in an oven, dehydrator or on a stovetop. Alcohol vapor can ignite near flames, sparks and hot equipment, even at low oven settings. If you cannot ensure adequate ventilation in a location free of ignition sources, do not attempt this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cannabis tincture containing food-grade alcohol
Preparation
- Combine the sugar and tincture in a bowl and stir until the mixture is evenly damp and grainy.
- Spread it in a thin layer and allow it to dry without applied heat in an appropriately ventilated, ignition-free location. Drying time varies; do not assume it will be ready in 30 minutes.
- When fully dry, break up clumps with a clean spoon or sieve. Transfer to a sealed, clearly labeled container and store securely away from children and pets.
Strength and handling
The recipe volumes do not establish a reliable THC dose per spoonful. Without verified tincture potency and even distribution, treat strength as unknown. Use the THC potency estimator only as an approximation. Avoid unlabeled portion bags and do not keep infused sugar in shared workplace food areas. For the fire risk, see OSHA's ethanol guidance.
