Understand the FloraSeries Before You Mix It

General Hydroponics FloraSeries uses three concentrated components: FloraMicro, FloraGro, and FloraBloom. The bottles serve different nutrient roles and their proportions change with the chosen program. Brand names and a fixed week number alone do not establish a correct dose for every plant or reservoir.

Each Part Has a Different Role

The numbers above are the manufacturer-published grades for the U.S. FloraSeries component products at the time of this review; always confirm the current label on the actual bottle. These are fertilizer percentages, not the strength of your finished nutrient solution.

02 / SEQUENCE, NOT A UNIVERSAL DOSE

Mix One Component at a Time

01Clean WaterStart with a measured reservoir.
02FloraMicroAdd first; stir until dispersed.
03FloraGroAdd separately; mix fully.
04FloraBloomAdd separately; then measure.

Never combine the undiluted concentrates. General Hydroponics currently instructs growers to add FloraMicro to fresh water first, followed by FloraGro and FloraBloom, thoroughly mixing between steps. After mixing, measure pH and EC/PPM rather than assuming the intended concentration was achieved.

A fixed-week recipe cannot account for reservoir volume, water mineral content, growing medium, plant response or cultivar; treating it as universal dosing guidance is unreliable. Official charts can change; use the one appropriate to the exact product and system.

Review the Whole Nutrient Program

Starting Water

Hardness and existing dissolved salts affect nutrition. Check your water and account for what is already present.

Growing Medium

Soil, coco and water culture differ in buffering, fertility and irrigation. Manufacturer charts are starting references, not guarantees.

pH and EC

These measurements flag solution conditions; neither reveals the exact amount of each individual element present.

Optional Supplements

Additional boosters are not automatically necessary. Evaluate guaranteed analyses, compatibility and evidence before buying extra bottles.
