NUTRIENT PRODUCT FAMILIES / FEED CHARTS
Pick a Botanicare base formula before adding supplements.
Botanicare sells several nutrient lines with different label instructions. Pure Blend Pro Grow, Bloom and Bloom Soil are separate base fertilizers. CNS17 uses its own grow, bloom and ripe formulas. A schedule copied from another crop, medium or bottle version can overfeed plants; the current product label and manufacturer feed sheet take priority.
Vegetative Grow and flowering Bloom formulations; Bloom Soil is a different labeled product.
A separate fertilizer system with its own stage-specific feed sheets.
Account for existing water and base nutrients before adding calcium, magnesium or other bottles.
01 / Understand the bottle
Botanicare products have different roles
Pure Blend Pro Grow
Intended as a vegetative-stage base nutrient. Check its current guaranteed analysis and application instructions, not a fixed historical week number.
Pure Blend Pro Bloom
A bloom formula for compatible systems. The separate Bloom Soil formulation has a distinct nutrient analysis for soil-grown plants.
CNS17
CNS17 Grow, Bloom and Ripe are not interchangeable with the Pure Blend Pro program. Use the appropriate chart and stage descriptions.
Cal-Mag Plus and additives
Whether to supplement depends on the water, medium and base fertilizer. Do not automatically add every optional product from a brand recipe.

What is the right Botanicare feeding schedule?
There is no safe universal week-by-week dose for every plant or hydroponic setup. Botanicare publishes feed charts in milliliters per U.S. gallon, with different product families and growth-stage assumptions. An old chart may not reflect the exact formulation, medium, water quality or supplemental inputs in use today.
Manufacturer instructions can include adjustments for nutrient-rich soil, reverse-osmosis water or coco coir. These are label-specific conditions—not a reason to copy a number from a different Botanicare formulation.
03 / Before applying
A four-part check for each new batch
Read the label and manufacturer chart for the correct Grow, Bloom, Soil or CNS17 version.
Consider nutrient-fortified soil, coco coir, reverse-osmosis water, and other fertilizers already present.
Track pH and EC where appropriate, and record which nutrients you added. Never confuse mL per gallon with mL per liter.
Check roots, drainage, moisture and environmental conditions before increasing fertilizer concentration.
Correct an excessive nutrient concentration or salt buildup based on the growing system and manufacturer guidance. Avoid arbitrary preharvest flush dates and claims of predictable taste improvements without controlled evidence.
See Flushing Nutrients for an evidence-based discussion and NPK Ratios Explained to interpret nutrient labels.
