Working in Minnesota? The cannabis business handles your worker check and badge.
Minnesota law allows licensed cannabis businesses to hire unlicensed workers, but the business must complete the required criminal-history check before hiring a cannabis worker. The cannabis business also issues the worker identification badge used on the job.
Don't confuse the business-license process with a personal worker license. For ordinary cannabis-worker roles, start with the employer's hiring process and Minnesota OCM guidance rather than paying a third party for a generic worker credential.
