How the math works
1 ounce = 28.349523125 grams. 1 pound = 453.59237 grams. 1 kilogram = 1,000 grams. The calculator first converts the entered value to grams, then converts grams into the other units.
Example
Twenty-eight grams equals about 0.988 ounces, 0.0617 pounds and 0.028 kilograms. A full avoirdupois ounce is 28.3495 grams.
