Working in New York? Your employer has required training to give you.
New York requires people performing activities under a licensed cannabis business to complete Responsible Workforce Training within 30 days of starting. Workers on licensed premises also use an identification badge issued by the licensed business.
You should not need to buy a mystery third-party 'New York cannabis worker certificate' before an employer will talk to you. Check OCM's current workforce guidance and the actual job requirements; required training is tied to work under the licensed business.
