Our client is currently hiring a Retail Assistant General Manager (AGM) who will be responsible for assisting with the effective performance management and execution of retail operations at the designated dispensary location including merchandising, staffing and patient order fulfillment processes. The AGM works closely with General Manager drive the successful business management and accociates’ performance of the dispensary.
What You’ll Do. Train, schedule and manage staff at all the dispensary to achieve established standards. Ensure that all deadlines are met and take accountability for completion. Drive a culture of positive employee engagement with a strong focus on inclusion & diversity Develop, coach and consistently execute the company’s service standards. Constantly work to improve standards and customer satisfaction. Actively oversee associates responsible for inventory. Quickly respond to recalls and customer service complaints. Effectively manage service labor and scheduling. Maintain a general awareness of cannabis and retail trends to help create innovative and adaptive strategies. Work closely with grower-processors to understand and learn about their products. Work with the General Manager to meet all regulatory requirements. Correct all violations with a sense of urgency. Work with the corporate office (finance, marketing, HR) to ensure standards are met. Maintain open lines of communication with staff, both management and hourly employees. Oversight of Safety and Facility Management Become a subject matter expert in Pennsylvania’s seed-to-sale tracking system MJ Freeway and LEAF Data System.
Who You Are.Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in the retail cannibus, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results Previous supervisory or management proficiency in high volume retail environment Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture Cannabis experience is a plus. Work/manage coverage of weekends and holidays as necessary. Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work 5-6 days per week including evenings and weekends including opening and closing shifts. Have a proven track record (5 years plus experience preferred) of working effectively with customers Must be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check
