Growing Clones in the Vegetative Growth stage for mothers or for pre-flowering, requires the use of Metal Halide (MH) Grow Lights which produce the blue/white color spectrum plants need during the vegetative stage. Once your clones have rooted, its time to remove them for their clone machine or trays and transfer them into buckets with a growing medium, then placed in the vegetative growth stage using the proper chemicals and lights to make them grow big and healthy.
Transferring Clones to the Grow Stage
Now that your clones have rooted, they are ready to be transferred into the vegetative growth stage. This is very easy to do, and this video shows you how to do it quickly and efficiently.
Flowering Clones for Buds

Some strains of marijuana allow you to transfer them into the flowering stage once they have rooted to begin budding. By doing this you will end up with a smaller size plant, which is perfect for the sea of green method or if you are limited on space in your grow room. Growing clones this way is the same as any other way, you simply remove the clones from the clone machine and place into buckets directly into the flowering room.

my video on cloning gives you all these answers. i show u on film exactly what i use and how to do it~!! use the website as thats what i built it for… for free too!!
I love your videos. They have been extremely helpful. I am a new grower. Can you do more videos for those of us growing in soil. How to prune during vegetation stage? When should we prune? I’m growing THC BOMB from bombseeds.nl also growing MAZAR, Blue Dream and White Domina. They are on 2 months and very healthy. Thanks again!
i dont grow soil due to bug issues. pruning plants depends on the strain and how its meant to be grown. every strain is different. then u need to decide how you want your plants grown. u may want tall ones, or short bushy. rule of thumb is: cut the top off the plant or clone when there are at least 4 branches. this will cause a “branch out” effect. now that youve done that, its all about how fast that specific plant grows. i have plants now that have been in veg 6 months and i cut them down to approx. 14″ and 4-6 branches every few days., this is creating a bushy short and very stout plant. grow your plants and learn/document how they grow. you will get the hang of it once you are familiar with your strains
Thanks for the advice and I appreciate the response. I’ll keep following you guys. Once I get the hang of it, I’d like to grow hydro. I’m keeping a very close eye out for bugs. None as of yet, thank god.
Hey mate I have a clone I recieved around 4 inchs and was in budd approx three weeks by the look of it I have since now transplanted into a differen bucket and seems to have slowly lost its buds..started growing funny. instead of the typical 5 or 7 figer fan leaves there is only oe finger and some of them the edge around them is smooth not jaggered..it looks like its just started budding again but doesnt seem to be going into progress. p.s this is outdoor grow. has my budding plant gone back into vege? do they still keep the buds when they do that then go back into bud and grow again please help am awfully worried
i dont completely understand.. was this 4″ clone growing in veg or was it in the flower stage (12hr)??
I cannot seem to find the video on taking a cutting and starting a clone. In the above video you use rock wool. would jiffy cubes work as well if I put my clone cuttings into jiffy cubes and the small net pot basket and into my EZ cloner? Will those small net pot baskets fit into the EZ cloner? I know you made your own cloner, but I got this one real cheap. I have had a terrible kill rate on clones. Just can’t seem to get most of them to live. Most seem to die off. Only about ten percent success rate.
Do you run your cloner 24 hours a day, or do you have it on a timer for smaller times during the day?
on my site, theres a tab called “VIDEOS” under that you will find every video, including the Cloning A Marijuana Plant Video!
